The Lexicon Method
A last proofread that flags assumed meaning and unattended finish so you can decide. It does not write the next draft for you.
What it is
When a person writes with AI, the draft can treat a meaning as already settled. It can also finish in a pattern the point no longer needs: a sentence that only completes a rhythm, a unit that restates a map already taught, a short list of nouns with nothing new in them. The reader of the finished page was not in the session that produced it.
The Lexicon Method is used at the last proofread, not while outlining or drafting. It looks at the draft you give it. It does not search a private chat. It flags claims the page has not earned, and finish that looks unattended. You keep the draft. You decide what to change.
One look is assumed meaning: a claim the page has not earned. The other is how the finished piece reads. It flags a sentence that only completes a rhythm, and a passage that repeats a point already made — including when those are the same line. A separate look can flag spelling, punctuation, and a broken sentence. It names the mark. It does not rewrite the sentence. It does not rewrite the piece. It does not claim the writing will not look like AI. It is not a substitute for being able to use the flags.
How it is used
Last proofread only. You look once, before the page is published. You do not use the method to invent the draft.
Flag. Do not fix. The pass names the problem. It does not write the next draft, polish the voice, or score how human the page sounds.
You decide. A claim the page has not earned can be shown, or dropped. A sentence that only completes a rhythm, or a passage that repeats a point already made, can be left or cut. The last yes is yours.
What it is not
It is not a writer. It is not a paste box or an upload. It is not an account, a membership, or a replacement for the tools you already use to draft.
It is not a claim that assumed meaning can be cleaned out of a page. The person still reads the flags and keeps the last yes.
